CRIME MAPS

For a while, The City of Tampa’s Website has had maps of Part 1 Crimes. Part 1 crimes are, sexual battery, larceny, robbery, burglary, aggravated assault, murder, and vehicle theft. These maps allow you to check the amount of a given crime in a zip code, neighborhood, or police grid. However, drugs, and prostitution which are extremely relevant to the quality of life in our community, have not been on the map. Thanks to the efforts of resident Scott Banghart and the cooperation of an anonymous City of Tampa "Lead Systems Analyst" from Strategic Planning and Technology, these maps are also now available.
